Your first visit is a 60-minute private consultation. No obligation. We discuss your lifestyle, style preferences, and which commission path fits you best.
Authorize Before June 30
Choose your cloth, confirm the commission, and authorize before June 30, 2026. The $500 credit is applied directly to your invoice.
Wear It Once. Understand.
Your garment is built over 8–12 weeks by one of our nine master tailors. Fitted. Finished. Delivered to your body. You will understand what the difference is.

I have never had a custom suit. Where do I start?+
You start with a 60-minute consultation at our atelier on 61st Street. We walk you through everything — fabric, construction, timeline, and what to expect. There is no obligation to commission anything. Come and see the shop.
What is the difference between the three tiers?+
Made-to-Order is an excellent entry point — your measurements are applied to a proven pattern. Made-to-Measure uses our 52-year master patterns refined for your body. Full Bespoke starts with a live drape — a unique pattern built from scratch on you. Every garment, at some point, is touched and worked on by our tailors in Manhattan.
How long does a commission take?+
Made-to-Order: approximately 6–8 weeks. Made-to-Measure: 8–10 weeks. Full Bespoke: 10–14 weeks with two to three fittings.
Do I need to come in person?+
For your first commission, yes — measurements and a style consultation are done in person at our atelier. We also offer a virtual consultation for an introductory conversation before you visit.
What is happening on July 1, 2026?+
On July 1, 2026, L&S Custom Tailors becomes a custom-only house. We will no longer accept alteration work. The $500 new client credit exists to welcome you into the custom side of the house before that transition.
