Open weaves
Fresco, lighter tropicals, linen when the brief is honest about crease. Structure still matters — limp cloth is not “summer.”

Cloth cannot be chosen from a screen. Every bolt we put forward can be touched, held, and draped in real light. Bring your calendar and your climate. We match weight and hand to both — then the nine tailors build.

A navy on a phone is not a navy under Upper East Side afternoon light. Twist, drape, and temperature change the read. You stand. We watch how the cloth falls on your shoulder. That is the library’s job.
Where will this garment live — week, travel, ceremony, heat, winter street? Then hand and open weave or tight. Then color and pattern scale. We will say no to a beautiful cloth that will not survive your actual week.

Names earn their place because the bolts are here or on order for the house — not because a banner needs logos. You will meet cloth from houses such as Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Vitale Barberis Canonico, and others we stock or commission for the brief. The list is a working shelf, not a marketing collage.

Hold a crease through offices and cars. The quiet workhorse band most professionals live in.

Deeper tones, barathea and fine evening cloth when black tie is real. Outer layers when Manhattan winter is the other half of the outfit.
Bespoke and Made-to-Measure open the wider library. Made-to-Order uses a focused house selection built for reliable turnaround. We explain which shelf applies after the consultation — not as a locked e-comm filter.
No swatch checkout. No SKU grid. No “add to bag.” No hero prices for cloth alone. Final cloth and garment numbers settle in person with the pattern and the path. Custom only since July 1, 2026 — the shop rack is not this page’s job.

Nine master tailors. Pattern kept for life. Book a consultation — the library is on the floor.
